Description

Took this opportunity to make a cover for one of my monthly journals. Processed the squirrel from raw - increased contrast using adjustment layers of levels, curves and vibrance then sharpened with smart sharpen amount/150, radius/1.0 remove lens blur. . Made a new document matching size and pixels 8" x10" @ 300. Opened another document - the sheet music - selected the music using the magic wand tool at a tolerance of 5 anti-alias, contiguous. (I used the magic wand tool because after hours of trying other tools - it worked) Then inverted the selection, cut the music and created a smart object. Pasted the squirrel and the music into the new document, added a new layer for lettering selected the "white" from the background using the eyedropper. Experimented with lots of type and finally chose Palatino Linotype bold, crisp.
Many thanks for a wonderful class!!!!!
